Being ready

My sister is currently working at a nearby hospital as a resident physician, and after years of being a resident doctor, she feels like she’s ready to take that consultant’s interview.  It was not easy to be a doctor,  she had to go through an eye of a needle to be where she is now, and what better way to take her profession to another level by becoming a consultant.

However, intelligent and smart as she is, she felt that she needed to further undergo training before she can take that consultant’s interview.  She then opened up her laptop and began searching for medical teaching courses and medical management course that she can avail of.  Undergoing medical management course for doctors will surely teach her in handling a team, and maximize the team’s performance. She then availed of the spr medical management course for doctors, that will develop the skills and values needed in handling teams.  And since consultants not only handle teams, but also teach their teams, undergoing a teach the teacher course for doctors seemed essential, as with handling teams, a consultant also needs to become a teacher, to be able to  handle  students and for sharing her experience and vital information.  Only after undergoing these courses, will she ever feel ready about taking a consultant’s exam.
