My daughter is in high school and goes to a local public school, with so many books, the administration provided them with School Lockers, located along the school hallway, so they need not carry their books and other school stuffs everyday.  For example, my daughter only brings home books that she will use the following day, and she leaves the other books at the safety of her Locker.

Aside from the lockers used to store books, and other academic related items, there are also Gym Lockers, located near the gym that they use to keep their gym clothes, sports shoes, towels, soap and such. Lockers are very important in schools, since they provide convenience to the students, giving them a secured place to keep their things without the heavy load everyday, since lockers are equipped with combination locks, that the user is the only one that knows the combination.  Like for my daughter, who never liked to carry so many books everyday, since it makes her back ache, and why carry books home hat she does not need the next day?  Thank goodness for lockers.
