It was my first day in college, and my history professor was a real terror, very strict and known to give out failing and low marks, I know that this first ever semester of my college days is going to tough one.  And as if meeting up to our expectations, our history professor gave us a term paper to do.  The only thing he did that we can consider nice, was giving out a wide range of term paper ideas to choose from.  He gave us a few instructions on how the format of our term paper and told us to go to the library and come back next week for our first term paper draft.

Being only freshmen, we instantly went to the university library and did our research for the next two weeks, taking down notes.  The topic I chose was more into world history, so, what I did was read a lot of world history research papers on the internet.  Getting ideas on how the flow of thought and idea should go.  After two weeks of going to the library and reading countless of world history research papers, I finally was able to submit my first draft of my term paper, and as I expected, it barely got a passing mark. The professor then instructed us to make the necessary corrections and pass it again after two weeks.  I didn’t know writing a term paper was so time-consuming and hard.  Well, I will definitely have no social life again for two weeks, or until my term paper passes.
